My name is Samantha Mendez
I received a bachelor's and master's degree in Environmental Engineering. During my schooling, I tutored math and science because I enjoy teaching and sharing the excitement for learning.
After college, I worked as a consultant for a water treatment firm and designed water treatment plants while working part-time as a tutor. I love my consulting job but realized my true passion was teaching and empowering students in their academics so I created Summit Academic.

All of our sessions are 1-on-1 and are provided in the comfort of your home so your child feels most comfortable. No need to worry about a tutoring center that provides tutoring to multiple children at once. We provide your child with 100% of our attention.
Your child will have the same tutor throughout their academic journey so we can build rapport with your child and better help them towards their goals.
